For weddings in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. Peak DMV wedding season (April–June and September–October) fills fastest. For portrait or commercial sessions, 2–4 weeks is usually enough.
Yes. We are based in Lanham, MD and cover DC, Maryland, and Virginia at no travel charge. For weddings beyond the DMV — destination work along the East Coast or internationally — travel is quoted in advance and discussed before booking.
In the DMV, full-day wedding photography typically ranges from $3,500 to $8,000+ depending on coverage hours, second photographer, album inclusion, and travel. At Studio Meem, our Signature wedding package starts at $3,800 for 10 hours, two photographers, and 200+ edited images.
For weddings and large commercial projects: 2–3 weeks standard, with 1-week rush available. For portraits and smaller sessions: 5–7 business days. Sneak peeks of 10–15 favorite images are typically delivered within 48 hours.
All final images are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs through a private online gallery. You can download, share, and order prints directly. RAW files are not included as standard but can be discussed for commercial projects.
We partner with a trusted network of cinematographers across the DMV and can coordinate full photo + video packages. Mention it at the time of inquiry and we will put together a combined quote.
Weather in the DMV is unpredictable — we have shot beautiful weddings in summer thunderstorms, autumn rain, and even snow. We discuss contingency plans during the planning consultation, and rain often produces some of the most striking photographs of the day.
Absolutely. We encourage couples to share inspiration images and must-have family combinations. We balance the list with documentary-style coverage so nothing feels staged.
A 30% deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session. We accept bank transfer, credit card (Stripe), and check.
You receive full personal-use rights to all delivered images — you can print, share, and post them anywhere. Commercial-use licensing is available for brand work and discussed based on project scope.
